Repair

Polarteknik’s repair services include:

• spot orders related to defective drive units or components
• repair of manual, pneumatic and electric drives and door leaves, applied to specific customer needs

In case of vandalism, failure at commissioning phase, transport damage or malfunction in use, we provide a standard repair process. The product is returned to Polarteknik where it is inspected, an evaluation of the repair cost is made, and an allocation of liability is assigned. The customer can then decide whether to decommission the part or order the repair.

In most cases, Polarteknik has designed the product, owns the tooling, and has the original drawings and processes stored. Therefore, the OEM part can be repaired or replaced with a new unit of equal specification.
